Course description coming soon. In order to maintain a high degree of personalized coaching this 2 day 16 hr course is strictly limited to no more than 6 students.

Precision Shooter 2
2 Days (16 hours)/$500.00 Payment in full required prior to start of class.
Prerequisite: Precision Shooter 1
Class Start: 8:45 am
Class Location: Taylorsville, GA 30178. Details will be emailed week prior to class.

  • Equipment setup & calibration
  • Use of ballistic solvers
  • Variables affecting accuracy in long distance shooting
  • Range & Wind estimation
  • Known & Unknown target engagement
  • Know your limits drills
  • Multiple target engagement
  • Rapid target engagement
  • Field positions
  • Shooter & Observer communication
  • Team drills

Gear List:

  • Rifle (bolt or semi-auto)
    • Magnified optic capable of precise elevation & windage adjustments or holds
  • Sling
  • Bipod
  • Front and rear “bags or sand sock” (optional though recommended)
  • Spotting scope (optional though recommended)
  • Ballistics solver (optional though recommended)
  • Weather station (Kestrel or equivalent – optional though recommended)
  • Shooting mat or ground pad (optional though recommended)
  • 350 rounds of factory loaded “match” ammunition
  • Eye & ear protection (foam inserts or muffs – electronic muffs recommended)
  • Hat with bill & sunblock
  • Raingear
  • Pen and Paper
  • Comfortable clothing and footwear. Wear something you’d use to go hiking in a national forest for the day (this is not the time to break in a new pair of platforms, pumps, wedges, sling backs, etc.)
  • Knee and elbow pads (optional) – Knee pads will help during range cleanup
  • Water or similar for hydration (1 gallon)
  • ~$12 for lunch. Lunch will be offsite at “Pastabilities Italian Restaurant” located approximately ¾ mile north of our training site:
